Our History
A Family Legacy, Elevated
Altum Contractors was born from a legacy of hard work, craftsmanship, and family values.
In 2015, our family established JLC Roofing & Construction LLC, a subcontracting company known for its integrity, reliability, and hands-on expertise. Over the past decade, JLC has completed more than 7,000 roofing projects across Greater Houston, serving many of the region’s top contractors.
In response to the growing need for a better homeowner experience, we launched Altum Contractors—a new entity created to bring that same proven craftsmanship directly to the customer. Altum was built to simplify the roofing process, prioritize honest guidance, and deliver elevated service from inspection to final walkthrough.
Today, JLC Roofing continues to serve as a respected subcontractor in the Houston market, while Altum Contractors leads the way in redefining what homeowners can expect: clarity, care, and quality at every step.

Jose D. Campos
Managing Partner
Campos founded Altum Contractors to honor his family’s roofing craft and push the industry forward. After earning a BBA in Management Information Systems from the University of Houston, he built a career developing digital products and leading transformation efforts for Fortune 500 companies at Accenture and Umbrage Studios, part of Bain & Company. Today, he brings that innovation mindset to Altum — combining craftsmanship with modern tools and efficient processes to strengthen operations, elevate quality, and deliver a seamless, customer-first experience. His vision is clear: build a company where skilled hands and smart solutions come together to raise the standard for roofing.
Cigni Campos
Marketing Lead
Cigni Campos brings a diverse background in real estate, wedding planning, and marketing, giving her a deep understanding of customer service and client experience.
